Notes on item reviews

Item ratings are displayed at various points on our site.

On the one hand, the displayed values come from an external evaluation service provider, on the other hand, registered customers of our site have the opportunity to rate articles that they have actually bought.

According to the current legal situation, we are obliged to provide information on whether measures are taken to ensure that the ratings displayed are genuine, i.e. come from consumers who have actually purchased or used the rated product. In addition, if verification measures are in place, we must explain which processes and procedures are used to check the authenticity of consumer reviews.

For this we declare:

The ratings from an external service provider come predominantly from consumers who have actually purchased the rated products. However, no steps have been taken on our part to ensure that this is the case for all product reviews.

The product ratings given directly on our homepage come exclusively from consumers who have actually purchased the rated products. This is ensured by the technical restriction that a product rating can only be submitted for a product if the product in question was actually purchased with the access under which the rating is to be submitted.
